John Priest (b.1897)
John Priest was born in Scotland. He described himself as a baker in Dawson in 1916 when he enlisted to serve in the First World War.1) He was a member of the Yukon Infantry Company. While he was away at war he arranged to have his mining claims on Dip and Rude creeks held free from cancellation.2)
