Lorenzo E. Robertson
Lorenzo Robertson was a professional photographer in Glenora, British Columbia in 1898. He was in Dawson from 1899 to at least 1904. His studio was on the corner of 2nd Ave. and 9th (Judge) Street from 1902 to 1904. This building was probably also his residence as Mrs. Nannie Robertson was living at that address in 1902. Robertson advertised photos from locket to life size, Kodak developing, printing and finishing. He also sold sets of Alaska views and mining scenes. One of Robertson's photographs was used in Tappan Aney's The Klondike Stampede of 1897-98, published in 1900. The Polks 1901 Alaska-Yukon Directory and Gazetteer has a full-page advertisement including a photograph of Robertson. Robertson was in Fairbanks in 1905 and 1906.1)
