Bert Sansom

Bert Sansom enlisted as a Yukoner to serve during the Second World War. He attended No. 3 wireless school in Winnipeg and graduated in March 1944 at Paulsen, Manitoba, where he received his wings and sergeant's stripes. In April 1944, Bert was a pilot officer in the RCAF, commissioned as a wireless air gunner.¹⁾
