Bud Simpson

Bud Simpson was born and raised in Telegraph Creek, British Columbia. His grandfather had been an agent for the Hudson’s Bay Company.1) Bud Simpson came over the Chilkoot Trail in 1898 and the horse, Billy Simpson, came over in the same year. Billy the horse was 24 in 1916 when he and Bud took part in the Dawson Discovery Day parade. Jimmy Lloyd was a body guard in the prospector scenario.2)
