Elaine Shorty

Elaine Shorty is Inland Tlingit with membership ties to the Kwanlin Dun First Nation. She was born in the Yukon to parents Norman Shorty Sr. from the Big Salmon area and Emma Joanne Shorty from Teslin. She worked with the Yukon First Nations Heritage Group for seven years before she joined the Board of the Yukon Heritage Resources Board. In 2021, she held the position of Vice-Chair.¹⁾
