Ed “Parson” Sparr

“Parson” Sparr was a stagecoach driver. He got his nickname from his skill in swearing. He could swear in rhyme and ‘it would flow from his mouth like poetry from a minstrel singer.’ He had the ability to drive six horses on a tough road with one hand and roll a cigarette with the other at fifty degrees below zero.1)
