Wendy Taylor

Wendy Taylor arrived in the Yukon in the 1990s. She is a Certified Management Accountant with extensive experience in northern businesses and industries. She started working in accounting, dispatch, and flight operations for Alkan Air in 1993. In 2007, she became a partner in the company.¹⁾ She and Hugh Kitchen took joint management roles at a time of spikes in the mining and aviation industries.²⁾

In 2009, Tina Woodland, Bev Kitchen, and principal investor Wendy Taylor purchased Whitehorse Motors from Rick Nielsen.³⁾ Wendy Taylor (president), Tina Woodland, and High Kitchen purchased the Edgewater Hotel in 2009.⁴⁾ Taylor became the president of Alkan Air in 2012.⁵⁾
