William Fentress Thompson (1865 - 1926)

William Thompson was born in New York. He worked on newspapers in Texas, Washington, and Canada before becoming a reporter, editor, and co-owner of the Dawson newspapers Yukon Sun and Dawson News from 1897 to 1906. He was the editor and co-owner of the Fairbanks Daily News and the Tanana Miner.¹⁾
