Jane Vincent (b. 1966)
Jane Vincent was born in Montreal, Quebec. She entered some major cross-country competitions in high school and by 1985 she was a member of Canada's National Ski Team. She moved to Dawson in 1989 and had to be very innovative in her training but she had great community support. She represented Canada at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. After she retired from racing, she continued to promote cross-country skiing in Yukon communities. Jan Vincent was inducted into the Sport Yukon Hall of Fame in 1997.1)
