Phyllis Villaver

Phyllis Villaver owned the Faro Studio Hotel and restaurant before she retired around 2021. Faro’s Legion Hall shut down in the 1980s and the building fell into disrepair. Phyllis remembers being at events at the Legion and the building has historic significance for the community. The town of Faro put the Legion building up for sale in 2022 and Phyllis took up the challenge of renovating the place to open Phyllis’s Restaurant and Lounge in 2023. It features new interior finishing, chandeliers, two pool tables, and a stage for karaoke.¹⁾
