James Bow Watters (1889 - 1918)

James Watters was born in Scotland and was a miner in Atlin, British Columbia when he enlisted to fight in the First World War.1) He was a private in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, Yukon Infantry Company on January 24, 1917.2) His name is engraved into the stone base of the Canadian National Vimy Memorial in France. The memorial honours those Canadian soldiers who have no known grave.3)
