Peter Allan (1872 – 1917)

Peter Allan was born in Levis, Quebec.1) In 1911 he was a miner at Glacier Creek, the head of a household, and a widower.2) He was recruited by George Black for service in the First World War and was in England in August 1917.3) He was with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry on 30 October 2017 when he died during the battle for Passchendaele Ridge.4) His name is listed on the Menin Gate Memorial to the Missing in Ypres, Belgium.5)
