Henry Besner
Henry Besner was a gold miner with claims on Burwash Creek. In 1966, he worked with Father Huijbers to install an old diesel-powered generator set up at Burwash Landing. Father Huijbers got power poles and cable from Indian Affairs and ran a line to every house so that everyone in the community could have a light bulb.1)
