John Lee Baker, Gooch Ooxu wolf teeth (1912 – 1994)
Johnny Baker was Tagish First Nation born at Winton, Windy Arm in the Yukon Southern Lakes region. His parents were Dak’alaa mass (Sadie McIntosh) and James Morgan Baker. His mother died when he was young, and John helped raised his brother Jack Baker and sister Dorothy Webber. He was a corporal in the army and worked on the railroad for many years. He was a musician, and he was of the Baha’I faith. Johnny was predeceased by his wife Mabel.1)
