Charles Cousins
Charles Cousins was a member of the firm Cousins Brothers who designed and built/assembled two steamers in Atlin for the White Pass & Yukon Route. He and his wife, Kate, lived in Victoria for fourteen years. She visited him in the north in 1918 and was returning home on the Princess Sophia when it sank in the Lynn Canal. Charles Cousins helped to search for bodies for eight days after the disaster. Kate Eleanor Cousin’s body was never found.1)
