James Francis Carroll (1871 – 1944)

James Carroll was a miner near Dawson in October 1916 when he enlisted to serve in the First World War.¹⁾ He had an interest in creek claim No 87 below on All Gold Creek and it was held free from cancellation for the duration of the war.²⁾ After the war, Carroll registered in the Yukon for employment as a returned soldier.³⁾ James F. Carroll is buried in the Hillside Cemetery in Dawson.⁴⁾
