Marie-Hélène Comeau

Marie-Hélène Comeau loved art in public school, but she trained as a dental hygienist. At the age of 40, she left a job as a journalist, completed a B.A. in art, and went on to complete a Ph.D in art at the Université du Quebec in Montreal. Marie-Hélène is inspired by the Yukon landscape and the sense of community she finds in the people.¹⁾ Marie-Hélène is known for her paintings but she also has installations, printing, and community art work.²⁾
