Yvonne Clarke
Yvonne Clarke was elected in 2025 as a Yukon Party MLA representing the new riding of Whistle Bend North. Premier Curry Dixon announced his intention of nominating Clarke as Speaker of the House. She will be the first Filipino Speaker in Canadian parliamentary history.1)
