Fanny Elizabeth Dupont, nee Henry (1938 - 2001)
Fanny was born at Moosehide to parents Joe and Annie Henry. She was of Gwitch'in ancestry of the Crow clan. She married Horst Scheffen when she was eighteen. They owned the Silver Inn cafe in Mayo and then moved to Dawson to own the Lucky Inn Cafe, which included a taxi business. Fanny worked as cook and baker. Fanny was well known for her beaded handmade clothing. Her first husband died as did three children, Byran, Darwyn and Larry. She is survived by children Benjamin, Dolores (Jimmy), Terrance (Roberta), Cindy (Peter), Albert (Christiane), and Gerald (Debbie). Fanny was pre-deceased by brothers Peter and Henry and sisters Ida and Edna. Surviving brothers and sisters include Percy (Mabel), Isaac, Victor, William, Mary, Margaret and Eileen.1)
