Martin Damer
Martin Damer was a stockman for P. Burns & Co. In 1924, he brought 60 head of cattle and 52 hogs from Vancouver to Whitehorse, all in excellent condition. This was Burn’s second shipment of cattle and hogs that year. Damer planned to drive the cattle to Mayo, assisted by Roderic Thomas, Jim Baker, and Jimmy Murray. The hogs would be shipped to Mayo by boat.1)
