Ole Dahl (b. 1891)

Ole Dahl was born in Norway.1) He was among those who staked gold claims on Johnson Creek, near Highet Creek, in 1915. In 1917, he was working for Elmer Middlecoff on Highet Creek.2) Dahl was drafted for service in the First World War in May 1918.3) He returned to the Yukon after the war and in 1923 staked the Yellow Rock Group of six claims with partners A.N. Martin, E. Anderson, and C. Williamsen. Dahl spent his last years in Essondale Asylum in Vancouver, British Columbia.4)
