Vince Federoff

Vince Fedoroff was born in New Westminster, British Columbia. His grandfather was a portrait photographer in Winkler, Manitoba.1) Vince lived with his family in Hope, British Columbia where his father owned and operated the Mount Hope Hotel. He traded that hotel for the Penguin Hotel in Dawson. The Penguin was located where the Midnight Sun Hotel now sits. He left The Star in 1984 or ’85.5) He was a freelance photographer and did some contracts for the newspaper before he returned to The Star about 1999 to take over the photographer position.6)
