Dick Gillespie (d. 1993)

Dick Gillespie's grandfather, Richard Gillespie, came from Prince Edward Edward Island to the Klondike with his brother Frank. Richard mined on Bonanza Creek and his son, Archie, was Dick's father. Dick mostly grew up in Dawson and started Gillespie Equipment Rentals which he operated until his death. He married Madge Caley and their son, Rick, took over the business. Rick's two sons are the fifth generation of Gillespies living in Dawson.¹⁾
