Keith Halliday
Keith Halladay is an author and a fourth generation Yukoner. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria and a master’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. From 1992 to 1997, he was a foreign service officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs. He was a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group from 1997 to 2000. He was executive assistant in the office of Premier Pat Duncan, Yukon Government, for one year, 2000/2001. Keith has filled several roles in the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) since 2006 and has been a director with the company since 2017.1)
Keith’s first novel, Aurore, was written for young adults with the help of his ten-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter. It is part historical and part fantasy and is based on the story of Keith’s grandmother Aline Arbour Cyr, later Aline Taylor. The Hallidays and MacBride Museum partnered to create a series of stories to bring characters and history to life for kids. Aurore reached as high as sixty-five on Amazon’s best seller list.2)
