Sig Hanson

Sig Hanson was born in Norway and arrived in the Yukon in 1937. He lived in Granville, in the Klondike gold fields, and photographed the Yukon as it was in the 1930s and ‘40s. He moved to Whitehorse in the 1940s during the construction of the Alaska Highway.1)
