William Hume

William Hume was of Scot descent.1) He was a member of the North-West Mounted Police and was stationed at Dalton Post/Shäwshe in 1902.2) He was the officer at the Dalton Trail customs at Champagne in 1906.3) Hume and Lily Kuskataheen, of Southern Tutchone descent, married and stayed in the area to raise five children. The family moved to Haines Junction in 1950.4)
