Charlie Isaac

Chief Charlie Isaac of the Little Salmon Carmacks area is in many photos in the Back and Bee family fonds collection at Yukon Archives. One photo is of Chief Isaac and his youngest wife Rachel. The caption, written by Lois Back Bee, says he had five wives.¹⁾ Lois thinks Charlie Isaac was the chief of the band at Carmacks around 1917.²⁾ Chief Isaac was Mary Luke’s father.³⁾
