James Richard Irvine (b. 1873)

James Richard Irvine was a hose man with the Dawson fire department in 1907.¹⁾ He was a miner and a widower in 1916 when he enlisted to serve in the First World War.²⁾ He was recruited by Captain George Black and was in England in August 1917.³⁾ He remained in active service in 1917-18.⁴⁾
