James Kennedy

James Kennedy stepped out in front of a stagecoach on 29 July 1902 at Bear Creek near Dawson. He was armed with a small jack knife and demanded the passengers' money. The stage driver ran him over and two passengers pursued him and were stabbed for their efforts - Chapman in the penis and Goodman in the chest. Kennedy claimed he was a partner of Tracy, the Oregon outlaw. Kennedy was committed for trial and was given five years in prison.1)
