George LaBlond (b. 1889)

George LaBlond was born in Quebec. He was miner at Granville in the Klondike goldfields when he was drafted for service in the First World War in February 1918.¹⁾ LaBlond lived in Dawson after the war and Private George LaBlond was listed as a member of the War Veterans Dawson Club when it affiliated with the Dawson branch of the Canadian Legion in May 1927.²⁾ LaBlond was a miner with the North West Corp Ltd in Dawson in 1923-24.³⁾
