Lee was well known throughout the territory, and he conducted a popular radio program. He was killed when his car collided with an Army ration truck.1)

The Whitehorse Baptist Church dedicated its building at the corner of Second Ave. and Rogers St. to the memory of its founder and first paster. Rev. Harold Lee.
