John Mawhinney

John Mawhinney staked placer claims on Ledge and Sheep creeks in the Mayo Lake area in 1903. He did not hold the ground for very long. He worked for Elmer Middlecoff on Highet Creek in August 1910. Mawhinney and his partners mined on Highet and Haggart creeks between 1910 and around 1915. Mawhinney had an address at Minto Bridge in the mid-1910s and early 1920s.1)
