Howard McMillan

Howard McMillan was the telegraph operator at Carmacks for many years.¹⁾ His wife was Alice. The post office, telegraph office and mining recorders’ office were all in their home, circa 1914.²⁾ Howard and Alice were still living in Carmacks in 1934.³⁾ Their home was along the river road in Carmacks and was still standing in 1989 with a sign saying it was the telegraph office.⁴⁾
