Jack McGilvery
Jack McGilvery was from Nova Scotia. He lived for years at the abandoned mining camp of Livingstone on Cottoneva Creek, and died there. His cabin was about two km below Louis Ingoll's cabin. He is described by Stan Cletheroe as the area’s first hippie. He lived in a cabin that was partly in the creek in 1993. Stan Cletheroe talked about a lake where his father and Jack cut hay with scythes. They loaded the hay on a horse-pulled wagon.1)
