Peter McGinty (d. 1960s)

Peter McGinty’s father was Na-Sa-Cha, a chief of the Selkirk Band. When he died, Peter became chief. Peter and Susie McGinty had three children, Tommy, Harry, and Ellen.¹⁾ Chief Peter McGinty was one of two chiefs of the Selkirk Indian band from 1916 to the mid-century.²⁾ Peter’s son, Tommy, became chief after his father's death.³⁾
