Frank Nakagawa

Frankie Nakagawa became the baker when a new bakery was built behind the Whitehorse Inn in 1937. Nakagawa also managed the hotel. He had formerly been with White Pass.1) In 1940, Nakagawa was still a popular baker at the Whitehorse Inn Café. He was also a talented carver, and a photo of his four-engine airplane carved from mastodon ivory was printed on the front page of the 1 March 1940 edition of The Whitehorse Star.2)
