John Arthur William O’Neill (b. 1880)

John O’Neill was born in Ireland. He served with the Royal North-West Mounted Police from 1905 to 1911. When he enlisted for service in the First World War he was a barrister and solicitor in Dawson.¹⁾ Lance Corporal O’Neill was recruited by Captain George Black. He was in England in August 1917.²⁾ He was involved in active service during the war in 1917-18.³⁾
