Yukon who is who

Ljubomir Lou Perunovic was born in Montenegro and came to Canada In the late 1960s and worked on the Alaska Highway. He earned a Master of Slavonic Studies at UBC in 1973 and studied and lectured at UC Berkeley. Lou came to the Klondike in 1980 where he spent his time prospecting and running gold mining operations. He spent most winters in Europe, writing and travelling. He loved Russian culture and literature, published four books, and was inducted into the Russian Writer’s Guild in 2022.¹⁾
