Edward Gorson Coke “Ted” Richards (1916 – 1945)

Ted Richards was born in Strathmore, Alberta to parents Eric Edensor Coke and Clarissa Grace Richards. He moved with the family to Whitehorse in 1925. He was husband to Florence Margaret Richards and father to Sharon Patricia Richards of Whitehorse. Richard enlisted for service in the Second World War in 1943 and was killed in action as a Flight Sergeant.¹⁾

Mount Richards near Canyon Creek, Yukon is named for Ted Richards.²⁾
