James D. Ryan (b. 1889)

James Ryan was born in Ireland. He was a policeman in South America before he came to the Yukon.¹⁾ Ryan was the owner of creek claim No. 10 Below at the mouth of All Gold on Flat Creek. He transferred claims No. 7 and No. 8 Below to Hamilton Daglish and sold him claim No. 10 on Flat Creek in June 1916.²⁾ In September 1916, he was a fireman in Dawson when he enlisted for service in the First World War.³⁾ James Ryan was still in active service in 1917-18.⁴⁾
