Tomo Simunovich (1881 – 1918)
Tomo Simunovich, also known as Tomo Simich, was born in Piva, Montenegro. He came from Butte, Montana to the Yukon where he worked for two years on Lake Chance Creek with Dolan, Jones, and Drake. Simunovich was a member of the Dawson Loyal Order of Moose. He was travelling to Vancouver and drowned when the Princess Sophia sank in the Lynn Canal.1)
