Dana Tizya-Tramm (b. 1987)

Dana Tizya-Tramm’s uncle was former Vuntut Gwitchin chief Joe Linklater.1) Dana was homeless at age thirteen and spent is teenage years in Whitehorse before moving to Vancouver.2)

Dana moved back from Vancouver to his home village of Old Crow around 2016. He was elected to the First Nation council and was president of the Youth of the Peel before he was elected chief of the Vuntut Gwitchin in 2018.3)
