Maria J. Very (d. 1918)
Mrs. Maria Very was born in France. She lived in Dawson and was the proprietor of the Dawson Laundry. She was travelling to Prince Rupert with her daughter Eleanor to conduct business. Maria and Eleanor Very drowned when the Princess Sophia sank in the Lynn Canal. She was survived by another daughter who lived outside the Yukon.1)
