Elwyn “Taffy” Williams (d. 1978)

Taffy Williams was born in Wales.¹⁾ In 1958, CBC took over the community radio started in Dawson by the Signal Corp. Taffy Williams was one of the local staff, along with Wee Willie Anderson and Denis Mackie. Taffy had a fantastic collection of his own records that he used on the show.²⁾

Williams worked for the Yukon Consolidated Gold Co. and maintained a log cabin on Queen Street. He was known for his garden and freely shared his flowers and vegetables.³⁾
