Joe Walsh
Joe Walsh came to the Yukon in 1904. Walsh had an address at Minto Bridge in the mid-1910s and early 1920s. In 1912, he walked a Keystone drill from Dawson to Duncan Creek and drilled there with partners William Bramley and Jack Adair. He later drilled Rodin Creek. In the 1920s, he mined and prospected in the Keno Hill area and was Wernecke's chief prospector in the airborne prospecting days. He and Everett Wasson found Paddy Burke's plane after it crashed in the Liard River area in 1930. In 1938, Joe Walsh and Sid Barrington mined on Boulder Creek in the Cassiar District.1)
