Beryl Zaykowski (1921 - 2016)

Baryl Zaykowski was born in Belfast, Ireland. She graduated from the Ontario Conservatory of Music playing the violin. She bred and showed collies and Siberian huskies and was an avid gardener and opera lover. Beryl lived in Dawson for twenty-two years and then moved to Hastings, Ontario. She was survived by sons Roger Mendelsohn of Dawson, and Raymond and Richard MacBride of Waterloo plus ten grandchildren and great grandchildren.¹⁾
